It is the most London-Nigerian house on this list, and I mean that as a compliment. The pieces are restrained — indigo, adire, clean silhouettes — and they work outside the occasion. When someone tells me they want African cloth without looking like they are in costume, this is where I send them.

The safari suits are the stand-out. They manage to be loud and elegant at the same time — strong shoulders, clean pockets, enough embellishment to read 'occasion' without tipping into costume. The kaftans are also well priced for the finish.

The agbadas are genuinely impressive. They use heavy corded cloth, strong embroidery and generous volume in a way that flatters a bigger frame. This is the house I point to when someone says they want to look like the most important person in the room.
